Mission:
Proclaiming the Gospel of the
Kingdom of God to the greater Orfordville area through what we say and the way
we live our lives.
Vision:
Harvest Community Church is a community of believers,
focused on Jesus, reaching out to the greater Orfordville area, equipped to make
disciples, walking in the Spirit, and functioning in the life of the local
church.
Values:
- We are made right with God
through faith in Jesus alone.
- God is a Father and this
reveals His eternal purpose for a covenant people in His image.
- The local church must be
vibrant and healthy since it is the primary instrument of God's eternal
purpose.
- The local church is
governed by elders in team ministry expressed in servant leadership.
- The local church is God’s
primary instrument for equipping and strengthening individuals and their
families.
- The present day working of
the Holy Spirit is manifested through believers in both the Fruit of the
Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit.
